Refund policy
Free trial first
Every visitor can run a 5-minute interview for free before buying anything. Please use it to check that your camera, microphone and browser work with the service.
Technical problems
If a problem on our side (video recruiter unavailable, interview interrupted, report not delivered) prevents you from using a credit, we re-credit it or refund it on request within 7 days of the session. Write to hello@candidateroom.com with the date and time.
Completed sessions
Interviews and resume rewrites that were delivered are not refundable, except under the guarantee below.
“Ready in 7 days” guarantee
If, after completing the four sessions of the programme, your readiness score has not improved by at least 15 points between the first and the last session, we refund the pack in full on request within 14 days of the last session.
Unused credits
Credits expire at the end of their validity period (30 or 60 days) and are not refunded. EU consumers: by starting an interview you ask for the service to begin immediately and acknowledge that the right of withdrawal no longer applies to the credit used.
How refunds are paid
Refunds go back to the original payment method through Stripe, usually within 5–10 business days.
